A Minnesota girl and an Iowa boy - both from towns pop. 700 - met at a square dance, around 1966-67. Of the several dance partners at that event, Allen says Phyllis was the best at keeping the beat. Three years on we were married.
Five years went by and we added a boy to the family. After three years we added a girl. Twenty-some years later the kids married. They added four grandchildren - all girls. Fortunately for us, everyone lives in the Twin Cities.
Allen became interested in photography in 1970, and it continues to be one of his passions today.
